Scope

This part of GB/T 6324 specifies the principle of using the three-stimulus values (X, Y, Z) established by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) in 1931 to determine the color of clear liquids, and the instrument method for measuring color (expressed as platinum-cobalt chromaticity).
This part is applicable to the determination of clear, non-turbid liquid organic chemical products with a nominal platinum-cobalt color number of 0 to 100, and the samples should have similar absorption characteristics to platinum-cobalt solutions and no fluorescence emission.
