Scope
This standard specifies the performance and installation requirements for jacks provided as original equipment and/or replacement equipment, used to adjust the height of the drawbars of agricultural trailers and towed equipment. The drawbars referred to in this standard are those connected to the mechanical coupling devices of towed vehicles as specified in ISO 6489-3. This standard also provides recommendations for designers, testing requirements, and marking requirements for jacks.
