GB/T 21296.3-2020 Automatic instruments for weighing road vehicles in motion—Part 3:Weighing axle loads
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 21296 specifies the terms and definitions, product models, metrological requirements, product structural requirements, product technical requirements, installation and maintenance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and product marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for axle load-type dynamic highway vehicle automatic weighbridges (hereinafter referred to as axle load-type dynamic weighbridges).
This part applies to automatic weighbridges that use one or more load-bearing devices installed in the weighing control area and flush with the road surface to simultaneously or separately support the entire axle or axle group being measured, in order to measure the wheel load (if applicable), axle load, and axle group load (if applicable) of highway vehicles in motion, thereby obtaining the vehicle's total weight. According to the different ways of supporting wheels, they can be divided into wheel load type, single axle type, and axle group type. The load-bearing devices of axle load-type dynamic weighbridges can be single or multiple. Axle load-type dynamic highway vehicle automatic weighbridges used in other situations can be implemented with reference to this standard.
This part does not apply to weighbridges or measurement systems in which the load-bearing devices or measurement devices do not move relative to the vehicle in the horizontal direction during measurement, such as static wheel load gauges and load measurement devices embedded in vehicle components.
This part does not apply to weighbridges or measurement systems in which the load-bearing devices are simply placed on the road surface and cannot ensure that all tires of the vehicle being measured are approximately located on the same plane as the surface of the load-bearing devices during weighing.
This part does not apply to weighbridges that only measure the single-side wheel load and then obtain the axle load, axle group load, and vehicle
