Scope

This document stipulates the energy consumption limits, technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for each unit product in the main processes of crude steel production (hereinafter referred to as "unit product energy consumption").
This document is applicable to steel enterprises for calculating and evaluating the unit product energy consumption in the sintering process, pelletizing process, blast furnace process, converter process, and electric arc furnace process, as well as for energy consumption control in new and renovated projects.
