本文件提供了气瓶追溯体系建设的目标、原则、资源支持、体系架构、体系要素与建设内容、实施流程等方面的指导。
本文件适用于公称容积小于或等于3 000 L、盛装气体或液体的气瓶（含气瓶集束装置）设计制造,充装使用,定期检验各环节及生命周期追溯体系的建设。长管拖车、管束式集装箱用大容积气瓶及消防灭火用气瓶、公称容积大于3 000 L且小于或等于5 000 L的气瓶追溯体系的建设，可参照本文件。
