Scope

This part of GB/T 13288 specifies the calibration of ISO surface roughness comparison samples that meet the requirements of GB/T 13288.1 and the measurement method of surface roughness using the microscope focusing method.
This part can be used to measure the surface roughness of steel materials that are basically flat after jet cleaning and have an average peak-valley difference within the range of hy=20 μm to 200 μm. If it is not possible to directly observe the surface roughness, the surface roughness should be measured on a representative area of the substrate after jet cleaning or on a replicated surface (see Appendix E).
