Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electronic heat distribution meters.
This standard applies to electronic heat distribution meters (hereinafter referred to as "heat distribution meters") used in indoor hot water heating systems to determine the proportion of heat supplied by radiators and calculate the heat distributed. It does not apply to forced convection radiators, steam radiators, and wall (floor and ceiling, etc.) radiant heating systems.
