Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and packaging of marine ultra-low temperature stainless steel forged socket-weld fittings (referred to as fittings).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of marine stainless steel forged socket-weld fittings with a design pressure not exceeding 21 MPa and an operating temperature not lower than -163 °C. The fittings of the onshore station's ultra-low temperature pipeline system can also be used as a reference.
