Scope

This document specifies the identification, treatment methods, and technical requirements for liquefiable foundations in water conservancy projects, as well as the specific requirements for the design, construction, and quality inspection of liquefiable foundation treatments such as replacing subgrade, enclosing, pile foundations, composite foundations, dynamic compaction and dynamic compaction replacement, and weighting.
This document applies to the design, construction, and quality inspection of liquefiable foundation treatments in large and medium-sized water conservancy projects. Other small-scale water conservancy projects may refer to it for implementation. This document does not apply to the anti-liquefaction treatment of foundations in projects such as dikes, earth-rock dams, gravity dams, and arch dams.
