The chapter in GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content:
This document specifies the safety requirements for DC household appliances (referred to as "appliances").
This document applies to appliances powered by DC and with a rated voltage not exceeding 750V DC.
Note 101: The DC power supply covered by this document includes the following scenarios:
—— Directly powered by DC grids, such as those powered by DC 375V and DC 48V;
—— Powered by DC outputs from external batteries or photovoltaic systems in appliances.
This document also applies to appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a risk to the public, such as appliances intended for use by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and farms.
Note 102: Examples of such appliances include commercial catering equipment, cleaning appliances, and appliances used in hair salons.
