GB/T 14732-2017 Wood adhesives:urea-formaldehyde,phenol-formaldehydeand melamine-formaldehyde resins

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for urea-formaldehyde, phenolic, and melamine-formaldehyde resins used in wood adhesives. This standard applies to various wood adhesives and impregnating synthetic resins synthesized by polycondensation reactions using formaldehyde and urea or phenol and melamine as the main raw materials; it also applies to synthetic resins in which melamine, phenol, and urea are partially substituted for each other, and in which hydroquinone is used to partially replace phenol in the polycondensation process. This standard does not apply to emulsion phenolic resins.
