Scope

This standard specifies the materials, processes, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of automotive carbon fiber composite cover components.
This standard applies to automotive carbon fiber composite cover components (hereinafter referred to as components) molded by prepreg molding, wet molding, and carbon fiber sheet molding. Cover components molded by other processes can be implemented with reference to this standard.
