This document is only applicable to manual valves.
This document specifies the test method for determining the pressure loss when water flows through agricultural irrigation valves (hereinafter referred to as valves) in a stable state. The given range and accuracy of valve performance parameters help agricultural irrigation system designers compare the pressure loss of various types of valves.
Through the pressure loss test, the functional relationship between the valve's flow rate and pressure loss can be obtained.
This document also specifies the processing method of test data and the content of the test report.
This document does not address the use, design, and application of the product.
The test method described in this document is applicable to valves with equal nominal sizes of inlet and outlet.
