GB/T 18688-2012 Agricultural irrigation equipment—Pressure losses in irrigation valves—Test methed

Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the pressure loss generated by valves used for agricultural irrigation (hereinafter referred to as valves) when water flows through them under steady-state flow conditions. The range and accuracy of the valve performance parameters obtained from the test can be used by designers of agricultural irrigation systems to compare the pressure loss of various types of valves.
Through the pressure loss test, the functional relationship between the valve's flow rate and pressure loss can be obtained.
This standard also specifies the processing method of test data and the content of the test report.
This standard does not address the use, design, or application of the product.
The test method specified in this standard is applicable to valves with equal nominal sizes for import and export.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, all quantities in the formulas of this standard use the SI units recommended by ISO 1000.
