GB/T 21220-2024 Soft magnetic metallic materials
GB/T 21220-2024 Soft magnetic metallic materials
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, magnetic properties, and dimensional tolerances for pure iron, iron-silicon, iron-nickel, and iron-cobalt, as well as iron-chromium. It also describes the corresponding inspection methods. The materials can be supplied in the form of rods, billets, sheets, strips, or wires. Pure iron, iron-silicon, iron-nickel, and iron-cobalt materials correspond to the alloy materials specified in GB/T 21219-2022 under categories A, C1, C2, E1 to E4, and F1 to F3. This document applies to magnetic materials for relays, which are covered by GB/T 43344-2023. However, the provisions for pure iron (Category A) and iron-silicon (C21 and C22 categories) in GB/T 43344-2023 are less detailed than those in this document, but it provides wider dimensional tolerances. This document applies to unoriented and oriented electrical steels (C21 and C22 categories) under 50/60 Hz, which are classified by specific loss and are covered by GB/T 17951.2-2014, GB/T 2521.1-2016, and GB/T 2521.2-2016. This document applies to unoriented and oriented electrical steels under medium frequency, which are classified by specific loss and are covered by IEC 60404-8-8.
