Scope
This section specifies the requirements for the components of the fieldbus. It also specifies the requirements for media and network configuration to ensure compliance with the following standards: a) Data integrity before error checking at the data link layer; b) Interoperability between devices at the physical layer. The physical layer of the fieldbus complies with the first layer of the OSI 7-layer model defined in GB/T 9387, but there are exceptions, such as certain types of frame delimiters being at the physical layer, while other types of frame delimiters are at the data link layer.
