GB/T 20645-2006 Specific environmental condition—Technical requirements of low-voltage apparatuses for plateau
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the supplementary technical requirements common to low-voltage electrical equipment in plateau environments, including: definitions, relevant information on the electrical equipment, structural and performance requirements, characteristics, test methods, etc. This standard applies to low-voltage electrical equipment installed at altitudes of more than 2,000 m to 5,000 m, which is used to connect circuits with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC. This standard does not apply to low-voltage complete switchgear and control equipment specified in GB7251. Note 1: The low-voltage electrical equipment referred to in this standard includes products covered by standards such as GB14048 series, GB13539 series, GB10963 series, GB16916 series, and GB16917 series. Note 2: Low-voltage electrical equipment installed at altitudes exceeding 5,000 m should be designed or used in accordance with the agreement between the manufacturer and the user.
