GB/T 39515的本部分规定了灌木与乔木作物用喷雾机(见3.1定义）及其他类似作物用喷雾机使用（包括制造商能够预见的误用）过程中环境污染潜在风险降低到最小的技术要求和验证方法。
本部分不适用于灌木和乔木作物用人力背负喷雾机。
本部分与规定了各类喷雾机的设计与性能通用要求的GB/T 39515.1一起使用。如本部分规定的要求与GB/T 39515.1规定的内容不相同，属于本部分适用范围的喷雾机优先遵循本部分的规定。本部分不包含安全方面的内容，安全方面的要求见ISO 4254-6。
本部分不适用于其发布日期之前生产的喷雾机。
