Scope
This document describes the method of determining the total alpha and beta radioactivity in rare earth minerals, rare earth compounds, rare earth metals and their oxides, rare earth alloys, and other rare earth products using the thick-source method.
This document is applicable to the determination of total alpha and beta radioactivity in rare earth minerals and rare earth products. The lower limit of the determination range: total alpha radioactivity, 0.1 Bq/g; total beta radioactivity, 0.1 Bq/g.
