Scope
This regulation applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of the speed measurement performance of motor vehicle portable laser speed radars (including handheld ones) and speed measurement units of motor vehicle automatic speed monitoring systems that adopt the principle of pulse laser speed measurement (hereinafter collectively referred to as "laser speed radars").
