Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, method overview, test system, samples, test steps, calculation formulas, and test reports for determining the elastic modulus, shear modulus, and Poisson's ratio of glass materials in high-temperature environments using the pulse excitation method. This standard applies to continuous homogeneous glass materials, and it can either measure the elastic properties of glass materials at a given temperature point or continuously measure the elastic properties of glass materials at different temperature points. Other continuous homogeneous solid materials can be used for reference.
