本文件描述了采用红外线吸收法、气体容量法、重量法和库仑法测定锰铁、锰硅合金、氮化锰铁及金属锰中的碳含量的方法。本文件适用于锰铁、锰硅合金、氮化锰铁及金属锰中碳含量的测定。测定范围（质量分数）：方法一为0.010%~10.00%；方法二为0.40%~5.00%，不适用于氮化锰铁和金属锰中碳含量的测定；方法三为4.00%~8.00%，适用于高碳锰铁中碳含量的测定；方法四为0.010%~0.40%，仅适用于金属锰中碳含量的测定。
