Scope
This part of GB/T 30789 provides a marking system for evaluating the number and size of coating defects and the degree of uniformity in appearance. It outlines the general principles of the entire system, which is particularly suitable for defects and uniform changes caused by artificial accelerated aging and natural exposure to sunlight, such as color changes, for example: yellowing. Other parts of GB/T 30789 provide some standard images or other methods for evaluating some special types of defects. When evaluating, it is recommended to base the evaluation on established methods as much as possible. Defects not included in other parts of GB/T 30789 can also be evaluated using this part.
