Scope
This part of GB/T 6609 specifies the calculation method for the Al2O3 content in alumina.
This part is applicable to the calculation of the Al2O3 content in alumina, which can be calculated on a dry basis or on a roasted basis.
Note: When calculating on a dry basis, the Al2O3 content in metallurgical-grade alumina is generally 98.5% to 98.9%; when calculating on a roasted basis, the Al2O3 content in metallurgical-grade alumina is generally 99.4% to 99.7%.
