Scope

This part of GB/T 0003 specifies the key exchange protocol of the SM2 elliptic curve public key cryptography algorithm, and provides examples of key exchange and verification as well as the corresponding process.
This part is applicable to key exchange in commercial cryptographic applications, which can enable the two communicating parties to obtain a shared secret key (session key) jointly decided by both parties through two or optionally three information transmission processes.
