Scope

This part of GB 39800 stipulates the general requirements for the provision of personal protective equipment (i.e., labor protective products), including the principles of provision, the provision process, the identification and assessment of hazardous factors in workplaces, the selection of personal protective equipment, tracking and tracing, scrapping and replacement, training and use, etc.
This part applies to the provision and management of personal protective equipment in all employing units.
This part does not apply to the provision and management of fire-fighting personal protective equipment in all employing units.
