Scope
This part of GB/T 31723 determines the shielding efficiency of metal communication cables by applying a specified voltage and current to the shielding layer of the cable and measuring the induced voltage to obtain the surface transfer impedance.
The measurement is carried out using commonly used high-frequency measurement instruments, with a frequency range from several thousand hertz to 1 GHz or higher.
