Scope

This document specifies the general requirements and safety requirements for light-emitting diode (LED) modules for general lighting. This document applies to integrated, built-in, or standalone LED modules for general lighting: -- non-integrated LED modules and semi-integrated LED modules operating under constant voltage, constant current, or constant power; -- integrated LED modules using a DC power supply of less than 250 V or an AC power supply of less than 1,000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This document does not apply to LED lamps.
