Scope
This document specifies the structure, technical requirements, and test methods for hydraulic fertilizer-pesticide injection pumps (hereinafter referred to as hydraulic injection pumps). These hydraulic injection pumps are used to inject fertilizers and pesticides into irrigation systems. Fertilizers and pesticides include liquid fertilizers, fertilizer solutions, and soluble pesticides such as acids, insecticides, and herbicides. This document applies to hydraulic injection pumps operating in water with a temperature not exceeding 50 °C and containing fertilizers and pesticides of common types and concentrations used in irrigation systems. This document does not apply to anti-backflow devices, nor does it apply to Venturi-type hydraulic devices used for injecting fertilizers and pesticides into irrigation systems.
