Scope

This standard specifies the model marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of pressure-reducing regulators for automotive compressed natural gas (hereinafter referred to as CNG). This standard applies to pressure-reducing regulators for automotive compressed natural gas (hereinafter referred to as pressure-reducing regulators) with a rated working pressure not exceeding 20 MPa (all pressures mentioned in this standard refer to gauge pressure), an operating temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, and an operating medium that meets the requirements of GB 18047.
