Scope
This standard specifies the basic conditions and requirements for port container yards (hereinafter referred to as "yard"), the operations of stacking and unstacking containers in the yard, the driving of loading and unloading machinery and vehicles, and the requirements for resisting disastrous weather and ensuring safety. This standard applies to port container yards. Container storage yards outside the port area designed to complement the port area can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to dangerous goods containers and container loading and unloading operations.
