GB 19578-2021 Fuel consumption limits for passenger cars

Scope

This document stipulates the fuel consumption limits for passenger cars, the application for type certification, the determination of fuel consumption, the determination and recording of type certification values, production consistency, changes, and the extension of certification, as well as the implementation date.
This document applies to M1 class vehicles that can run on gasoline or diesel fuel and have a maximum design total mass of no more than 3,500 kg.
This document does not apply to vehicles that only run on gas fuel or alcohol-ether fuels.
