Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method for determining the critical temperature of composite superconductors used in industry.
This standard is applicable to single-core or multi-core composite superconductors with circular, flat, or square cross-sections in an integrated structure, including Cu/NbTi, Cu/CuNi/NbTi, and CuNi/NbTi composite superconductors, Cu/Nb3Sn and Cu/Nb3Al composite superconductors, as well as metal-clad MgB2 composite superconductors, and Bi-based oxide superconductors with metal as a stabilizer, and Y-based or rare-earth metal-based coated conductors.
