This standard specifies the method for determining rare earth elements in plant-based foods using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
This standard is applicable to the determination of scandium (Sc), yttrium (Y), lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), praseodymium (Pr), neodymium (Nd), samarium (Sm), europium (Eu), gadolinium (Gd), terbium (Tb), dysprosium (Dy), holmium (Ho), erbium (Er), thulium (Tm), ytterbium (Yb), and lutetium (Lu) in plant-based foods such as cereal grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, and tea.
