Scope

This rule applies to the regular inspection and initial inspection of lifting machinery within the scope of the "Special Equipment Catalogue". The scope of lifting machinery subject to initial inspection is in accordance with the "Catalogue of Lifting Machinery Subject to Initial Inspection" (see Annex A). For large-scale lifting machinery installed with a safety monitoring management system, the specific scope is in accordance with the "Catalogue of Large-scale Lifting Machinery Installed with a Safety Monitoring Management System" (see Annex B), and the initial inspection items shall include the relevant content of the safety monitoring management system. For the following cranes in Annex B, the regular inspection shall include the relevant content of the safety monitoring management system: (1) Those that have undergone supervision inspection in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for Supervision and Inspection of Major Installation, Modification and Repair of Lifting Machinery" (TSG Q7016); (2) Those that have undergone initial inspection in accordance with the requirements of this rule; and (3) Those that meet the requirements of Article 23 of this rule.
