TSG Q7015-2008 Regulation for Periodicity Inspection of Lifting Appliances

Scope

The regular inspection of lifting machinery as stipulated in these rules is conducted by special equipment inspection and testing institutions (hereinafter referred to as inspection institutions) approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Administration) on the basis of regular daily maintenance and self-inspection carried out by the units using the lifting machinery. The inspection is conducted on the in-use lifting machinery that has been registered for use in accordance with these rules. These rules apply to lifting machinery within the scope stipulated in the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". All lifting machinery included in the "Catalogue of Special Equipment" shall undergo regular inspection. For lifting machinery included in the "Catalogue of Special Equipment" that has not undergone installation supervision inspection and is directly delivered to the user units in the form of complete machines, the inspection shall be conducted by the local inspection and testing institutions in accordance with these rules before the user units register for use.
