GB/T 14598.10-2012 Measuring relays and protection equipment—Part 22-4:Electrical disturbance tests—Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 14598 is based on GB/T 17626.4-2008 and, with reference to the applicable parts of that publication, specifies the general requirements for electrical fast transient immunity tests. These tests are applicable to metering relays and protection devices used in power systems, including control, monitoring, and process interface equipment used with these devices.
The purpose of the tests is to verify whether the tested devices can function properly when they are activated and subjected to repetitive fast transients (pulse groups) caused by events such as the disconnection of inductive loads or the bouncing of relay contacts.
The requirements of this part apply to new metering relays and protection devices, and all tests are only for type testing purposes.
