GB/T 17430-2015 Estimating the maximum service temperature of thermal insulation
Basic Information
Scope
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the maximum operating temperature of insulation products such as loose-fill insulation materials, felts, blankets, blocks, boards, and prefabricated insulation pipe shells. The selection of performance items and their judgment criteria, as well as the performance of products under use (or after use), form the basis for evaluating the maximum operating temperature of materials. The performance items and judgment criteria are specified by relevant standards for insulation materials. This standard does not intend to address all safety issues related to product use. This method is designed to guide the evaluation of the performance changes of insulation materials at high temperatures and determine the suitability of materials under specific application conditions. This method is generally not used for batch acceptance tests or appraisal tests.
