Scope
This part of QX 10 specifies the selection and usage principles of surge protectors (SPDs) used in electronic system signal networks to prevent direct lightning strikes, lightning electromagnetic pulses, and other transient or temporary overvoltages. This part is applicable to electronic systems with a nominal voltage not exceeding 1000V (r.m.s) or a DC voltage not exceeding 1500V.
