Scope
This document specifies the method for determining the linear thermal expansion coefficient of thermal spray high-temperature alloy coating materials, including terms and definitions, principles, equipment and instruments, sample preparation and requirements, testing, calculation, accuracy and deviations, and test reports. This document is mainly applicable to the determination of the linear thermal expansion coefficient of thermal spray high-temperature alloy coatings (such as nickel-based alloy coatings) using a push rod expansion instrument.
