Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the content of the following low-carbon fatty amines products by gas chromatography.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of 1-ethylamine, 2-ethylamine, 3-ethylamine, 1-isopropylamine, 2-isopropylamine, 1-npropylamine, 2-npropylamine, 3-npropylamine, 1-n-butylamine, 2-n-butylamine, 3-n-butylamine, 1-isobutylamine, 2-isobutylamine, 1-sec-butylamine, 2-sec-butylamine, and 1-isopropylamine, 2-isopropylamine, 1-sec-butylamine, and 2-sec-butylamine obtained by the alcohol amination process, as well as the determination of the content of 1-isopropylamine, 2-isopropylamine, 1-sec-butylamine, and 2-sec-butylamine obtained by the ketone amination and hydrogenation process.
