Scope
This document establishes the procedures for the permanent sealing and disposal of abandoned wells in oil and gas fields, including general requirements, well sealing design, common sealing processes, reservoir sealing, special well section sealing, casing annular pressure treatment, wellhead disposal, quality control and inspection, operation data recording and archiving, and health, safety, and environmental protection control. This document is applicable to the permanent sealing and disposal of abandoned oil, gas, and water wells in onshore oil and gas fields.
