Scope
This standard specifies the test procedures for the thermal performance, noise, and water spray rate of seawater cooling towers, as well as the methods for parameter measurement, data processing, and result evaluation. This standard applies to the acceptance tests of newly built or modified wet-type mechanical ventilation and natural ventilation seawater cooling towers. Tests of seawater cooling towers that are not for acceptance purposes can refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to the testing of "smoke-tower integrated" seawater cooling towers.
