本文件规定了机械产品在高海拔环境条件下的环境参数及其严酷等级。
本文件适用于海拔高度1 000 m～5 000 m地区使用的机械产品，在制定运输和装卸、无气候防护场所及有气候防护场所的环境条件标准时，按其所受到的环境影响程度,选定环境参数和严酷等级。
本文件不适用于高海拔地区存在爆炸性危险物质、矿井等特殊环境条件下使用的机械产品。
