Scope

This standard specifies the operational norms for perishable fruits and vegetables (hereinafter referred to as fruits and vegetables) in the post-harvest, pre-cooling, refrigeration, transportation, and sales stages, as well as the operations between these stages.
This standard applies to fresh vegetables (including edible fungi) and fruits that have not been processed or have undergone primary processing and are intended for human consumption.
This standard does not apply to quick-frozen perishable fruits and vegetables.
