Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the definition of fruit mulberry, base selection and construction, fruit mulberry seedling selection, scientific planting, disease prevention and control, fruit mulberry harvest, fruit mulberry quality indicators, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, and standard transportation. This standard is applicable to the cultivation and management of fruit mulberry in Fengdu County, Chongqing, and regions with similar water quality and climate conditions to that area. Main technical content: Fruit mulberry has strong adaptability. For high-yield fruit mulberry orchards, the soil cultivation layer should be more than 25cm thick, with a soil depth of more than 1m, and the groundwater level should not be more than 1m above the ground. The soil should mainly be dry fields. Generally, a yellow clay soil or shale sandy loam with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5, rich in organic matter, and easy to irrigate is selected for orchard construction. Seedlings should be planted promptly after leaving the nursery. Generally, 250 to 300 fruit mulberry seedlings can be planted per mu, with a planting density of: row spacing of 2m, and plant spacing of about 1.35-1.5m. According to the cultivation density of fruit mulberry, digging planting holes with dimensions of 0.3mX0.3mX0.3m, filling the holes with about 0.2m of soil, and then planting. When planting, dig planting holes uniformly and arrange the fruit mulberry seedlings upright. Do not break the grafting interface. Plant the grafting interface about 3-4cm below the soil surface, and let the roots spread evenly in all directions. Then fill the holes with soil, compacting the soil as you go until it is level with the ground. Finally, pile up the remaining soil around the trunk. In the first year of planting, the focus is on cultivating the tree shape and robust fruiting branches. From mid-to-early February to early March of the second and third years, flowering and fruiting begin. For tree shape cultivation,
