This standard specifies the infrared thermal imaging detection method for the surface temperature distribution of mechanical and electrical equipment during operation, with the aim of detecting temperature abnormalities in the inspected mechanical or electrical equipment.
This standard does not establish evaluation criteria. The specific criteria shall be determined through consultation between the inspection party and the user.
This standard does not fully provide safety requirements for conducting inspections. All parties using this standard have the obligation to establish appropriate safety and health guidelines before conducting inspections.
