Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for high-precision hoist chains of T-grade (T, DAT, and DT types) used in manual hoists or power-driven ring chain hoists. This standard applies to round steel welded short ring chains with a nominal size range of 3mm to 22mm, the heat treatment and testing of which comply with the acceptance general principles specified in GB/T20946. Note: T-type chains other than DAT or DT types can be used not only in ring chain hoists but also in other lifting equipment. TH and VH-grade chains specifically for manual hoists will be specified in other standards.
