GB/T 17934.2-2021 Graphic technology—Process control for the production of half-tone colour separations,proof and production prints—Part 2:Offset lithographic processes

Scope

This part of GB/T 17934 specifies a series of process parameters and parameter values for the color separation, plate making, and printing production processes of four-color sheetfed offset printing and rotary offset printing, except for cold-set newsprint offset printing.
The selection of process parameters and parameter values takes into account the typical production process, which involves printing production using all substrates available on the market. The stages of this process include "color separation", "proofing", "plate making", "first-sign proofing", and "printing production".
This part:
——Directly applies to the printing samples and production processes of printing presses using color separation plates;
——Applies to the printing samples and production processes of printing presses with more than four colors, provided that similar data, screen rulings, printing substrates, and printing parameters are used as in four-color printing;
——Applies to the printing of packaging board materials;
——Applies to various drying methods, such as heat-set, infrared, and ultraviolet drying;
——Provides a reference for quality assurance and quality management.
This part does not apply to printing production other than offset printing, such as direct printing via digital data without an intermediate image carrier, or printing where the image carrier can be updated with each print sample, resulting in each print sample having different content.
