Scope

This document stipulates the accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions for steel production enterprises, including the accounting boundaries at the enterprise level, the accounting steps and methods at the enterprise level, the scope and methods of accounting at the process level, data quality management, and the content and format of reports.
This document applies to the accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions for steel production enterprises. Steel production enterprises shall account for greenhouse gas emissions and prepare enterprise greenhouse gas emission reports in accordance with the methods provided in this document. If steel production enterprises have other product production activities in addition to steel product production and there are greenhouse gas emissions, they shall account for and summarize the reports in accordance with the requirements for enterprise greenhouse gas emission accounting and reporting in the relevant industries.
